The Delfi Contour Lower Leg Tourniquet Cuff and Matching Limb Protection Sleeve System was developed to fit the wide range of adult lower leg shapes and tapers with a single cuff size.
The Delfi Contour Lower Leg Tourniquet Cuff can be positioned a safe distance proximal to the ankle, maximizing surgical access for foot and ankle.
The unique contour shape of this cuff allows enhanced fit in the tapered lower calf region of the typical adult patient. This enhanced fit (which is not possible with a standard tourniquet cuff) provides a clean, bloodless surgical field at lower pressures (typically 200 mmHg, or less using techniques described in the medical literature that are based on measuring the Limb Occlusion Pressure of individual patients).
The Delfi Contour Lower Leg Tourniquet Cuff provides an alternative to a thigh cuff for ankle procedures, and an alternative to low-ankle cuff placement for foot procedures (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses' guidelines recommend that lower leg tourniquet cuffs be placed proximal to the ankle, and that as wide a cuff as possible should be used**).

- Easy Snap-On Hose Connectors - Hose connectors attach easily to cuff ports, snapping securely into place. Hoses can be quickly disconnected when lock is released.

- Thinner Cuff Design - Cuffs are thinner, lighter weight and more pliable than most tourniquet cuffs for easy cuff application to the limb and less obstruction at the surgical site.
- Exclusive Security Anchors - Security anchors, at specific intervals along cuff edges allow even cuff inflation and maintain a flat surface against skin to help prevent cuff migration.
- Extra-Wide Cuff Design - Because these cuffs are 1.5 in. (4 cm) wider than other tourniquet cuffs, they cover a greater tissue area. Less pressure is required to achieve hemostasis and the risk of nerve injury is substantially reduced. (The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses' guidelines recommend using as wide a cuff as possible.**)
